Spring Break

Over the 1st half of Spring Break I took the kids to see Auntie Lisa and cousins, Alyx and Elli. What a fun time we had. The weather didn't permit us to do all of the outside activities we had planned so we made due with some fun indoor activities. Although one day we did get to go to the park.

Tyke, Lexie, and Alyx painting
Masi didn't want to paint. She would rather drink her...bottle???
Look at how cute I did Alyx's hair!!

Painting is always fun when you've got the tunes to go with it
After a day of playing dolls and art I apparently passed out from exhaustion. (Thanks for the pic, Lisa) After my little nap we headed downtown to Chuck E Cheese for some Pizza and FUN!!!!

So the next day was a little warmer...not much...only a little. We took the kids to the Discovery Center. After we explored all the fun things in there we headed to the park. We met up with a good friend, Porter. He and Lisa asked me if I knew how to throw a Frisbee. Um....OF COURSE! Who doesn't? What they didn't ask me is if I threw it well....now that is entirely different!
The prep...not too bad.The release...great form if I might say so myself (hee hee)The delivery...eh...not so good. It went to total wrong direction. :/Oh! Helleeeew.

ReadyTake off!
Nice catch, Porter. Did I mention he plays Ultimate Frisbee?? Yeah...he's a big deal.
Um...I broke my nail catching this. Yeah...not happy 'bout that one.
Elli is so happy!
Lisa tickling Lexie. No wonder she's the favorite auntie. She's SO FUN!!!

Alyx is DONE. Let's go eat PIZZA!
We went to this REALLY cool Pizza Place where the kids could make their own pizza. HOW FUN! And it was REALLY yummy too.

Good job! Yum!
Masi and her glasses! Haha...she won't leave the house without her accessories.
The whole crew. What a fun day!

Lexie and Masi

Lexie and Masi were playing dolls in Alyx's room while in Boise.

Masi: Look at my dress! It is SO fancy. Your dress isn't fancy.
Lexie: So. I am a ROCKSTAR!!!!!!!!!!

More Tyke

While in Boise, Lisa's cute little babysitter (well I guess she's not really little...she's 16), Kelsey, came to pay Lisa and her kids a visit.

Tyke: HI! Will you talk to me?
Kelsey: Sure.

Tyke proceeds to talk her ear off for a good minute or two. Then he stops and looks her square in the face.

Tyke: I LIKE you!

Tyke

We went to Boise for a good part of Spring Break to visit Lisa and her kids. Tyke (and my girls) have been counting the days. Finally, we got there last Saturday. Now mind you, we have been to visit my sister, Lisa, at her house SEVERAL times before...

Tyke: LISA!!!! I'm going to Bosee (Boise)!!!
Lisa: Tyke, you ARE in Boise
Tyke: I am??? Then where is your house???
Lisa: This IS my house

Tyke takes a look around and nodded approvingly

Tyke: I LIKE it!

How to Make a Jolly Rancher

In the Words of Masi:
Take a fruit. Then squeeze it really hard until all the juice comes out into a bowl. Then stir it. Then with a teeny tiny spoon get it out and put it in the sun. Wait a long time and it will turn hard into a jolly rancher.

Lexie adds in with her I know because I'm older tone: OR put in the fridge.
