Masi

Jett and I took our kids to Golden Corral for dinner the other night. Masi wanted some steak. As she's cutting it she asks, "Mom, what is steak made from anyway?" I told her cows. She was astounded and a bit disgusted. But, quietly, she began to eat her steak. We all carried on with random conversations for awhile as Masi, while deep in thought, continued to slowly eat her steak. Finally, she looked up at me with this indescribable look on her face and says, "Mom, it's a good thing I'm not a cow."

Our First Dance Competition of the Season; Ogden, Utah

Masi getting ready for her "Birthday Party" dance.I really wish this picture wasn't blurry. This was so cute! The song was "It's My Party and I'll Cry if I Want To" and the acting these girls did was so fun! Before this picture Masi was pretending to pull this girls hair and now she's running for her life. Haaahaha...it was soooo cute!
Iailey and Lexie peace'n out
Lexie did a dance to "Fire Burning". It was so cute and they too did some great acting. This first picture they were just dying of heat. This dance was awesome. It was more of a hip hop-ish dance and they were getting DOWN!
Lexie with her fire extinguisher cooling everybody off.
This girl has some serious "tude".
This weekend was really fun and the girls had a blast with their first competition. We rocked the house. Go DSDS!!!

February Shout Outs!

Happy Birthday to ME! (February 14th, yes, I'm a love child ;o)Yes, People. Another year has come and gone and I am yet another year older. But I can honestly say that although my 20's were great, my 30's have proven to be even better so far!

Happy Birthday to Shelby! (February 17th) Shelby is my oldest friend. (Meaning I've been friends with her longer than any of my other friends.) We met in Kindergarten and despite the fact I told her mom she was surely going to Hell for smoking we became quick friends. And we have have stayed good friends ever since. She is very dear to my heart and am so honored to have her as my friend. Happy Birthday, Shelby. I love you!

Happy Birthday to Dad! (February 18th)As most of you know my dad is my hero. I look up to him in so many ways and can only hope to become half the person he is today. He is the most generous, kind, and giving person I know. He sets such a great example to me and my family. Thanks for all you do, Dad. Happy Birthday, I love you!

January Shout Outs

Happy Birthday to Kelsey! Kelsey is the oldest of the nieces and nephews. She was born my senior year so every year she turns a year older I am reminded of how many years I've been graduated. She turned fourteen this year. FOURTEEN!!! (I cannot be that old.) Kelsey has always been so dear to me. She is so responsible and caring of her younger siblings and cousins. Thank you for being such a great role model for my girls, Kelsey. I love you, Sweet Cheeks!
Just look at how beautiful she is!
Happy Birthday to Alyx! Alyx turned four this year. She has got to be the funnest little girl in the world. She is so full of life and always has a smile on her sweet face. I have a special bond with her because I babysat her for the first year and a half of her life. She reminds me so much of Lexie and I love to see her in action! She is so curious and always up for an adventure! I just love her curious mind. She is a sweet girl and has such an innocents about her. I love you Sweet Alyx!
I just love this picture of Alyx!!! Pretty much sums her up. Princess on a four wheeler. She has four BOY cousins, her same age, to keep up with. (And trust me, she does!)

First Impressions Hand Casts OPEN HOUSE!!

I am really excited to announce my new business.....

I am one of the first consultants for First Impressions Hand Casts. My sister in laws' sister in law, Susan Hall, started this company about 5 years ago. The company has grown and now has franchises all over the United States. She just started the consultant program and I couldn't pass up the opportunity. I love it because there are so many cool things you can take impressions of. Of course the new babies are fun but you can cast your toddler holding a toy, your child holding a baseball or your teenager making a peace sign. You can preserve your parents or grandparents hands. The options are endless and they are so awesome to display in your home.

The process is fast. It takes me 20 minutes to cast a hand and foot. I make $15. Not bad for 20 minutes.

I am having an open house on February 6th from 10-2. Stop by and check it out! (call me for details)

  • If you would like to get any impressions taken let me know!
  • If you are looking for a way to earn extra money let me know!
  • If you are interested in purchasing a franchise in your area let me know!
