Brielle’s 9th Birthday

Tyke was posing like how his sisters do. Hahahah!

Tyke's Hulk Face. Scary!
The day was foggy and there was a lot of mist in the air. It was very pretty.

Jett and the kids having a race.
While we were walking along the beach, because it was low tide, there were a lot of sink holes in the sand. Some were big. Some were small. The kids were running and jumping in them. Despite my several warnings, Tyke jumped into one of the deep ones. He got soaking wet. Ugh! All the clothes were packed in the truck and it was cold out. So, we had to strip him down to his Superman Undies...
Tyke all wet. His puppy too. He had me pin this "cape" around the neck of the puppy. He is a super dog.
Jett and Masi
Lexie enjoying her last day of playing in the ocean.
Once we got to Haystack Rock I was excited to see all the different sea life that attach themselves to the rocks. It was low tide so they were all out of water. It was amazing to see how fast the tide came in and soon they were all under the ocean once again.

It's hard to see but this is a baby crab.

Lexie and Masi standing in front of a rock with thousands of seashells stuck to it.
I love all the caves!
Tyke
Just making some cheese. Delish!
Masi Girl
After doing some tasting of the different cheeses we went and ate some lunch. It was yummy!! Grandma is putting in her order.
Let's Chow! Masi doesn't eat much and later turned down icecream. For those of us who know Masi, this is very out of her character. I can probably count on one hand the number of times in Masi's lifetime that she has turned anything down with sugar (sickness would be the reasoning behind it too). At this point, I'm hoping she's not getting what Lexie had on the way to Oregon. Remember? Barfing, ear grief, emergency room...etc??? Oh boy.
If any of my kids are going to be beach bums when they grow up it will be Lexie. She L O V E S the beach!!! She embellishes every moment she has at the beach. I swear she has no body thermometer either. She will splash around in that ice cold ocean like she hasn't a care in the world! I love her free spirit. Such a carefree little girl. I wish I could be a little more like that. She has always been my little girl who will always take the time to smell the roses.

The rocks were amazing
The Lighthouse in between these rocks was so cool. It stands alone on a rock out in the ocean.
Hanging out by the fire

Okay, now here are some crazy pics for ya! Jett is the goofiest person on the earth I swear. He stuck 2 marshmallows in his cheeks and was making us all laugh our faces off!!! Check these out:

My Handsome Dad

Jett and Tyke taking a walk down to the shoreline. Precious Moments.

The sun setting behind the ocean. Nothing like it.
My Mom and Dad coming back from their walk.
Love it!
So, we're all sitting around the fire and Masi informs me that she does not feel good. I had a feeling this was coming on back at the Tillamook Cheese Factory. But I'm hoping she just sits down, takes it easy, and gets feeling better... :o/
"Mom," she tells me. " I really don't feel good." I tell her we'll head up to the condo soon. By this time I should really be listening to her. But I think I was in denial. I was loving the moment too much I couldn't leave. When Masi sais she is sick that means SHE IS SICK!!! No faking with this one. She does NOT lead on.
This picture makes me feel so bad!! Right before we headed in I stood up and wanted to get one more picture of her. She tried so hard to smile pretty but she was getting sicker. Poor thing. I'm such a poop head!! Right after this picture she turned around and barfed all over the place!! Oh Masi!! I'm SO SORRY!!! I felt so bad!
So, back to the condo we went.
After a bit, my mom came up to the condo and said she was done for the night. She said she would stay with Masi if I wanted to go back to the beach. HOW NICE!! I totally took advantage of that! I headed back right then! Don't worry, my sick child was bathed and in bed asleep by this time :o) so were Tyke and Lexie. YES!
