July 10 Jett and I took turns staying in the condo with Masi, Remember? She had the flu. :o( Early that morning, while everyone was still sleeping, me and my mom and dad went to Downtown Cannon Beach. We went to breakfast then checked out the little shops and cool beach houses. We stopped at Bruce's Candy Store and let me tell you! It is the BEST candy store in America!!! Holy crap! Their salt water taffy is TO DIE FOR! After we finished walking around town we headed back to the condo. My parents packed up and left for Washington. Jett and I stayed.
The next day was our last day in Oregon. I was not ready to go home. I L O V E it there!! So, we all got up and loaded up the truck. Then we walked all the way down the beach to Haystack Rock. On our way to the rock, the tide was slowly coming in. As it rolled in, little baby crabs would wash onto the beach. As soon as the water went back out the little crap would burrow itself in the sand so fast! It was fun to watch and the kids LOVED it!
Here are some pics of our last day:

Tyke's Hulk Face. Scary!

The day was foggy and there was a lot of mist in the air. It was very pretty.

Jett and the kids having a race.
While we were walking along the beach, because it was low tide, there were a lot of sink holes in the sand. Some were big. Some were small. The kids were running and jumping in them. Despite my several warnings, Tyke jumped into one of the deep ones. He got soaking wet. Ugh! All the clothes were packed in the truck and it was cold out. So, we had to strip him down to his Superman Undies...
Tyke all wet. His puppy too. He had me pin this "cape" around the neck of the puppy. He is a super dog.

Lexie enjoying her last day of playing in the ocean.
Once we got to Haystack Rock I was excited to see all the different sea life that attach themselves to the rocks. It was low tide so they were all out of water. It was amazing to see how fast the tide came in and soon they were all under the ocean once again.

It's hard to see but this is a baby crab.

Lexie and Masi standing in front of a rock with thousands of seashells stuck to it.
I love all the caves!

Tyke was posing like how his sisters do. Hahahah!

When we went to Oregon we stopped in the exact same place. When low tide is there the star fish are amazing just as your picture shows. I think that really is the best place to go on vacation!!
