My Mom is a very special person to me. She has the kindness heart of anyone I know. She would carry any one's burden just to make life a little bit easier. She loves all of her 6 children more than anything in this world and would do anything for them. I have so many fond memories growing up. I remember how soft and gentle she always was. She was so patient and caring with us. One of my favorite memories is when she would put all of us kids to bed then go into the living room and play the piano. I loved falling asleep to her beautiful music. As time went on and we became teenagers I remember her saying that throughout the teenage years it's very important to keep a sense of humor. She somehow managed to keep all of us in one piece as hormones raged with me and my 3 sisters!!! In my adult life I am so grateful for her wise advise and help with my kids. She gave me super tips when I had my first born. I remember her telling me not to pick her up with every grunt and groan. When she's hungry she will let me know. I am SO grateful for that advise. Especially throughout the years as my friends have had babies of their own and I see them struggle with them sleeping throughout the night. Even as toddlers!! She taught me the importance of self pacifying!!! She is now not only my mother but a great friend. Thank you for all you do. I love you with all my heart. Happy Birthday, Mom!

I love this picture. For Valentine's Day Lexie picked out a bouquet of flowers for Grandma. As you can see she picked wilted ones. There were ones that were not dying but Lexie insisted on these ones. She thought they were beautiful and perfect for her. My Mom LOVED them!
