A morning discussion before trying to get out the door:
Jett: Lexie go pick up your pile of stuff in Masi's room.
Lexie: Just a minute.
Jett: No! Do it now.
Lexie: *groaning* Uuuuggg. I know. I heard you. (then mumbles under her breath while walking down the hallway) I heard you, geez, do you think I'm blind?
Not really sure what not hearing Jett has to do with being blind. Silly girl! Ha!

Driving down the road yesterday there were some naughty boys (around Lexie's age, I would say) standing in the middle of the road throwing their garbage (plastic pop bottles) into the empty canal and along side the road. The windows were down in the car because of the beautiful weather we had. I don't normally do this, but I yelled at them as we drove by to get out of the road and stop littering. From the back seat I hear:
Lexie: Oh my gosh! MOM! *slowly sliding down in her seat*
Me: What?!
Lexie: *mumbles* you are so embarrassing.
Me: *giggling just a bit by her reaction* What? Why am I embarrassing?
Lexie: Because, Mom. They might see me.
Aaaahh! She's growing up on me. I would be embarrassed if my mom did that too. Like I said, I wouldn't normally do that. Ha!

The reason we have kids is to embarrass them like our parents did to us!! Good job!
Geez Kristi you're so embarrassing, I can't believe you'd do that! Ha!Ha! You know we're only on our way to ruining our girls social life, so they think.
haha lexie is so cute. and luckily my mom hasnt done that and i hope she wont. :)
I am totally not above embarrassing Kelsey...little does she know. ;) I would have spoken up too. And the blind comment is hilarious.
