Mini Lops

On June 23 we got 2 little bunnies from Masi's friend from school, Emma. Emma's family breed Mini Lop Ear Bunnies. Jett and I thought it would be fun for the kids to get a couple. So, while they girls were at gymnastics, Tyke and I went to Emma's house and picked out a couple of bunnies. One was gray and so fat and so fluffy and so loppy! He was so laid back and tame. He was my favorite. The other one was smaller and more high strung. He had one ear that poked straight up in the air. It fit his uptight personality perfect. He was Masi's favorite. The kids loved these little guys, especially Masi. She would get up every morning to check on the bunnies. She love, love, loved them. This happy time was short-lived, however. The bunnies died only 6 days after we got them. The kids took it alot better than I thought. Especially, after I told them we would get more. But we will always remember the fun we had with these sweet little guys.
